♪ your words, your story

Give your own lyrics a musical direction

Tune Music’s lyrics-to-song workflow starts with words you provide. It is useful when you already have a verse, chorus, or full lyric draft and want to explore how it could sound with vocals and an arrangement.

  1. Open Create and select Your Lyrics.
  2. Paste or type your lyric draft. Keep line breaks so that phrases are easy to review.
  3. Choose or type a direction in Style of Music. An acoustic ballad and an energetic pop track can give the same words very different feelings.
  4. Generate the song and listen for the parts where the phrasing, rhythm, or emotion needs another pass.

Start with a short chorus

ORIGINAL LYRIC EXAMPLE

I left a light on by the door
For all the things we had before
Now every road I choose to take
Is one more chance to stay awake

This draft repeats a simple idea and leaves space between phrases. Try it with a warm acoustic direction, then a more energetic pop direction. These are illustrative words you can adapt; they are not lyrics from an existing recording.

Want a longer draft to try? Copy a verse, chorus, and music style from our lyrics-to-song guide, then compare two musical directions using the same words.

Improve the words after listening

If a line feels rushed, shorten the phrase or move one thought into the next line. If the chorus does not stand out, repeat the main idea more clearly. Change one part at a time so you can tell whether the next version is a better fit.

For example, shorten “I am standing here alone beside the station in the rain” to “Alone beside the station rain.” Read both aloud, then listen to whether the shorter version leaves more space in your song. See the listening and revision checklist for a repeatable comparison.

Common questions about lyrics to song

Do I need a complete song?

You can begin with a short draft to explore an idea. A clearer verse and chorus give you more material to evaluate when you listen.

Will every word and melody be exactly as I imagined?

AI generation is interpretive. Review the result rather than assuming that every word, pronunciation, or musical detail will be reproduced exactly.

Can I use someone else’s lyrics?

Use words you wrote or have permission to use. A new AI arrangement does not resolve rights in the source lyrics.

Song generation requires an internet connection, and access may depend on your subscription or credits.
